Okay is a Norwegian security company providing PSD2 SCA-compliant technology for mobile banking, remittance, and secure transactions. Their patented solution enables secure, single-device authentication while protecting users against increasing security requirements in the financial sector. The company needed a stronger digital presence and a clear way to communicate its complex technology to potential clients within the banking and fintech industries, as the existing platform and messaging didn’t fully reflect the sophistication of their solution or its potential applications.

The project focused on simplifying highly technical concepts and turning them into a product and brand experience that felt trustworthy and easy to understand. This included rethinking how the technology was presented, refining its visual identity, and redesigning the website to improve UX, accessibility, and discoverability. The result was a user-focused platform that communicates Okay’s value clearly, strengthens its positioning within the fintech and cybersecurity landscape, and provides a foundation for continued growth and product development.

 

My Contributions:

• Concept development: Helped define how to communicate a highly technical product in a simple, relatable way.

• Product design: Worked on the app from initial sketches and UX flows to interactive prototypes and go-to-market launch, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.

• Demo creation: Planned a compelling live demonstration of the technology to help illustrate real-world use cases (in progress).

• Visual identity: Contributed to the redesign of the brand identity to better align with Okay’s evolution and market positioning.

• Website redesign: Supported the creation of a new website with improved content structure, user experience, and visual cohesion
